Records staff read, review, and prepare police reports for the Superior Courts. 

They also work closely with the District Attorney's office to ensure all items are shared with the appropriate parties in a timely manner. 

Support staff include our Evidence Technician, Finance, and Crime Analyst positions.

Multi-Service Officers (MSO) work on a patrol team and supplement the officers assisting with reports and transportation of arrestees. 

A Community Service Officer (CSO) works with the Special Operations Division assisting detectives with reports and community engagement.

Cadets staff the front office and are often the first person our community contact in the police department's front lobby.

Communications are the first responders of the police department. Answering calls, dispatching officers, and offering comfort to our community during their time of need. 

MHPD Communications dispatch Police, Fire, and EMS for the City of Morgan Hill. They also answer and transfer many calls to the Sheriff's Office or CHP depending on the jurisdiction responsible.
